When is the captains’ briefing? What time does the first wave start, and when do we meet by the stage for the trophy presentation? We present the detailed schedule for the jubilee Ekiden at AWF. Save it on your phones and plan this day with your team!
On May 23, the Warsaw AWF campus will become the center of Polish team running. Due to the division into starting waves, our runner’s village will be bustling with life all day long. To ensure you don’t miss the most important moments, we have prepared an official hourly schedule for you.
Event Schedule
Friday, May 22
- 3 pm – 7 pm – Race Office. This is where you can collect your starter packs!
Saturday, May 23
- 8:00 am – 12:00 pm – Race Office and starter pack pick-up. Don’t leave this until the last minute!
- 8:30 am – Captains’ Briefing. We invite you to the main stage! We will provide the most important pre-start logistical instructions for the relays there.
- 8:45 am – Baton pick-up for Wave A. Runners from the first leg (starting at 9:00) enter their starting boxes and collect their batons with the chip.
- 9:00 am – Start of Wave A. The first wave of runners sets off on the route!
- 10:30 am – 1:00 pm – Starts of subsequent waves (B-K). Teams from later waves start successively.
- 3:30 pm – Award ceremony and grand finale. We all meet by the main stage! We will hand out statuettes in the general classification, the Corporate Relay Championships, and diplomas in industry categories.
The runner’s village with deckchairs, a food zone, and a medal zone will be open throughout the entire competition. We are waiting for you from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. See you there!
